My sister had this done to her when she was in rehab and she said that if
she didnt do it, then she probably wouldnt have recovered as quickly as she
did.
Great comments, I agree, recovery is just as much about the mental and
spiritual as it is the physical.
My aunt had acupuncture done to her and she said pretty much the same thing
about it speeding up the recovery process. She always recommends it to
anyone undergoing rehab
While in treatment I was impressed by the effectiveness of the acupuncture
methods used. I think it`s true that their is a much lower rate of relapse
for those that are treated with acupuncture as part of their addiction
treatment program. The nice thing about Cliffside Malibu is each program is
tailored to your specific needs and acupuncture was part of my program. I
felt like acupuncture reduced my cravings in a very natural way.
It is refreshing to know that there are people like Andrew Bick employed at
places like this that have come from a drug abusive back round or addiction
back round. I bet he makes it easier for the addicts to speak out.
Wow, very insightful! I never knew a whole lot about acupuncture and its
effects. After watching this video, I feel a little bit more at peace with
my visit to Cliffside Malibu next month
The thought of Acupuncture has always seemed a little creepy to me,
especially if I were the one experiencing it. After I watched this video,
it surprisingly doesnt sound so bad.
