Can You Link to Drug Abuse Statistics?

Question by Commentor: Can you link to drug abuse statistics?
I’m curious to what extent various drugs contribute to death. Aside from tobacco and alcohol, what drug kills the most people? I would figure cocaine or heroine, maybe even prescription drugs. Are there any data that shed light on this subject?
Brian: very interesting.
Troll: you are useless. Enjoy your two points.
Jared: excellent contribution. While it is not exactly what I am looking for, it is very useful information. You are right in that it does seem hard to come by information on the subject. I just found part of what I was looking for, if you’re interested: http://medicalmarijuana.procon.org/view.resource.php?resourceID=000145 Still, I would like to see breakdowns of individual drugs such as cocaine, LSD and the like. It’s interesting how the FDA drugs appear to be of more harm.
