Keep her up to date on your successes. That’s what will really be rewarding to her over any material gift you could give.

  • ed201283 says:

Get her a small bouquet of flowers with a personal card.

Make a good future for yourself. Get a great job. Become a success. When you do, go to her and tell her you became the person you are, because she cared.

  • glsbnewt21 says:

Give her a card and $ because everybody likes $ .

Write her a letter expressing your appreciation. Tell her pretty much what you wrote in your question above. That is the greatest gift you can give a teacher…to let them know that their efforts to help you were noticed and were worthwhile. Just write from the heart and don’t worry about making it sound formal or flowery. Believe me, she’ll appreciate anything you have to say. Obviously she cares about you and I think that it wonderful that you are on your way to a better life and have people like her supporting you. Good luck!

Write a note in a card telling her how much her support has meant to you. It will mean a lot to her.

Find or make a nice thank you card, and some small keepsake item.

  • mrscastillo says:

shake her hand and say “i really appreceate this thanh you

  • kate says:

well you can start by thanking her by either giving her a gift back, or you can just tell her how much that gift meant to you. either way the teacher will see how much you appreciate how thoughtful he/she was. hope this helps.

  • MommaSchmitt says:

I think if it were Me, I would write, in my own handwriting, a nice note to her thanking her for the thoughtful gift, and I would add that you really appreciate her showing you such kindness, and for caring about you. It is great that she cared enough about you and saw the good in you to take the time to think of you and do something, and it shouldn’t go unnoticed. I am glad you also care enough to show her that despite having made some bad choices, you are not a bad person, and her caring has touched you. Good luck in your recovery.

Buy her a nice card to say thank-you and let her know how you are doing.

  • Gemelli2 says:

    send her an “update” regularly…
a birthday card, Christmas card…etc etc etc

the greatest gift would be a successful rehab program..and then tellin her that you appreciate her caring about you…

A Thank You card and Flowers. But I guess it will be best if you will APPLY the things she had taught you, apply them whole heartedly. For me,The best assessment of a good teacher is when a student learned from her or not. I know the feeling cause I’m a teacher myself. And for me the biggest achievement a teacher can have in her profession is when a student learned from me, and see them maximizing their potentials as an individual,I dont mind to be always tired and weary most of the time teaching my students to best way I can. it just shows that somehow I”VE MADE A DIFFERENCE. Not just for me but for my students as well.

  • gina says:

A letter will be priceless to her. As for the book, just simply thank her & tell her what you thought of it. That’s not lying at all.
