gambling can only ruin your life if you don’t know what you are doing. of course of you play a game with a 15% casino advantage you are gonna go broke. gambling is usually the blind leading the blind and people think the dealers are there to help them win. do your research before you gamble and ONLY place high probability bets. be smart don’t think and bet the way the casino has conditioned you to bet.?

@Kinkseraph Actually, it is both.? Poker is a skill game, but it is also gambling. A good poker player tries to maximize his overall expectation with each decision he makes. In the long run, a the player that makes the correct decisions will win and the player who makes bad ones will lose, but there is still luck involved.

actually, gambling is defined as wagering money with the expectation of gaining money on an event that is uncertain. However, you can gamble in the long run on events where you are guaranteed to have an edge over your fellow bettors. On each event you are gambling, but in the long run you know you will win.

ie… gambling on sports? where you have done statistical analysis and opponent has not. You will win in the long run if he continues to bet with you for eternity.

Why dont you have a look for yourself,? my losses are there.

  • John A says:

asso, no one win in gambling. In the long? term, everone lose. You fit the perfect mind of a gambler, not admitting your loses.

  • Christian B says:

Shut your face idiot and? read again what i write. Pokerstars, Fulltilt etc does NOT have a casino and is NOT a casino, it is a pokersite. These sites does not make money off losses and wins, they make money from the rake that is a little part of every pot that is played, regardless of who’s the winner of that pot. They make money off people that are playing on the sites and not the loosers. I am a winning poker player and you sir are a fool!

  • kingcharlesfunksquid says:

this cracks me up, I’ve been in you’re position, done well from very little.? Give it time and you will plummet like the innevitable fact that is you cannot win when you choose to gamble, it’s a short term gain. watch and tell me how much you have in a year, don’t reply until then.

  • pL0n says:

If you lose money playing Texas Hold’em or Omaha online is because you have no idea how the game works, you are really stupid with your bankroll managment and you make alot of bad bad decisions.

I? started with 10$ playing no-limit hold’em in the lowest stakes (.01 and .02c) in PokerStars and so far i made 350$ in 3 months… im not saying that im rich or that i am some sort of expert or something like that, all you need to be a winner playing online poker is discipline and bankroll managment.
